Before launching Luminier, my world was defined by complex code and systems architecture. As a software engineering team manager at Ocado, my day job was to take highly advanced, automated technology and make it perform flawlessly, safely and efficiently.

When I looked at the aesthetics industry, I noticed a glitch. Too many people – particularly those with darker skin tones or those battling complex hormonal hair growth like PCOS – were being left behind by clinics using generic, one-size-fits-all lasers. Laser hair removal shouldn’t be a guessing game. It requires engineering precision.

I built Luminier to change the narrative: a chic, high-end boutique paired with rigorous technical excellence, built around the Polaris Medical solid-state Nd:YAG laser.

Many clinics are limited in who they can treat safely. Using the Polaris Medical Nd:YAG laser, we can treat a wide range of skin tones, from very fair to the deepest skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI).
